Carlye Abrams is licensed in Louisiana and Georgia as a LPC and in Louisiana as a LMFT. Carlye has worked in the field of mental health for ten years. She has worked in a hospital, a prison, mental health rehab, and private practice settings. Carlye recently relocated from Louisiana where she was in private practice for eight years treating youth and adults. She has used animal assisted therapy in her practice since 2002 and has two therapy dogs- Spock and Arwen. She will be working with high risk and domestically abused youth in animal assisted psychotherapy this spring and conduct camps in partnership with Lookout Mountain Community Services this summer at Heartland Ranch with this population LMCS serves in Georgia's Region One.
