McCracken Poston holds dual bar memberships in Georgia and Tennessee, and has achieved pro hac vice admission for cases in many other jurisdictions, from Alabama to the Republic of Korea. A former four-term state legislator, he now enjoys a full-time law practice in federal, state and municipal courts, concentrating on defending those charged with criminal offenses.
In addition to being selected to the “2006 Georgia Super Lawyers” class, McCracken Poston was named “2004 Newsmaker of the Year” by the Fulton County Daily Report, and selected to Georgia Trend’s “The Legal Elite: Georgia’s Most Effective Lawyers” in 2005. He has an “AV” Peer Review Rating in Martindale-Hubbell. McCracken Poston is a charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
