Staff Nurse & Barn Manager

Rachel was raised in Shreveport, LA. Her horse education began with training Arabians at age 12.  She showed with Vallian Arabians for 3 years, under Dr. Valri Brown, DVM.  From there she dabbled in hunters until running across the Fox Team.  Alan and Louise Fox both trained extensively in Germany, Italy and Great Britian before calling the States home.  Rachel began her career with the Foxes in the Summer of 2000.  She has trained and shown many re-trained Thoroughbreds to new careers.   While with the Foxes, Rachel also trained Thoroughbreds for racing, and interned for a summer with the Racetrack Veterinarian.   Dressage, show jumping, eventing, and fox hunting are a few of her specalites.  Her current mounts include The X Man, a 9 yo TB gelding, who competes in all disiplines. The new guy: Regent, a 2yo American Warmblood gelding, for whom she has big plans!
