During my time as a Foster Parent and a parent of a Devolopementally Delayed child I

saw a great need for services that just were not available to help them expand their

potential. Heartland is a natural fit for our kids with special needs so I was

thrilled to become a part of this wonderful program.

 

During my professional career I have seen alot of heart ache from abuse, neglect and

exploitation of children. When I ran for public office my format promise was to

become involved with prevention of any type abuse. Of all the programs I am involved

with, Heartland leaves me feeling good and seeing real results that will last a life

time.

 

There is nothing more beautiful than a child with a confident smile.
