Located in beautiful north Georgia just minutes from Chattanooga, TN, Heartland Ranch is an innovative facility dedicated to serving children with exceptional needs. One hundred acres with fishing pond, hiking and riding trails, 200x200 covered, lighted riding arena, and a 42-stall stable will be the setting for programs and camps available to under-serviced populations.

Programming at Heartland Ranch includes Hippo Therapy; Therapeutic Riding; Equestrian Programming with leadership, team building, decision making and life skills highlighted; Day Camps for developmentally delayed and high risk children; Inner City Kids programs; Organic gardening and environmental studies; Work & mentoring programs for high risk children through horse & stable management; Special Olympics Horse Show; Confidence building, emotional & spiritual healing; Vocational training; Future Respite Care Lodge.

It is Heartland's goal to eventually provide Equine assisted psycho therapy for the high risk and abused along with becoming a NAHRA certified center.

All programming conducted by professionals, trained interns and volunteers.

Available as part of our in-house fund raising is horse boarding, arena rental, riding lessons, arena events, and overnight layover / vacation boarding.
